Antioxidant and hypercholesterolemia effects of Lagerstroemia speciosa ethanolic green and red leaf extracts against Lauric acid and ketogenic diets in female albino rats

The study investigates the therapeutic value of Lagerstroemia speciosa ethanolic green and red leaf extracts against Lauric acid (LA) a Ketogenic diet (KGD) in Albino rats. is an important constituent breast milk, forming nutritional factors having various medicinal values. It present 6.2% human 3.1% goat 2.9% cow milk. also found plant sources like coconut, cohune, palm kernel oil. uses fat, protein, low carbohydrate for energy. experimental groups were fed 21 days, with treated showing significant increase blood cell count Hg levels. phytochemical profile reveals abundant phytoconstituents, including corosolic acid, lagerstroemin, anthocyanin, at high compared LELE Low Dose High (250 500 mg/kg body weight) standard KGD acid. showed elevations biochemical parameters increased cells LELE's anti-hypercholesterolemia activity significantly reduced weight, total lipid profile, glucose dose-dependent manner. that safe non-toxic, group demonstrating dose dependence decreased obesity.
